MADA was conceived in a small beach house in Dana Point in the summer of 2004. Founder Vince De La Pena wanted to create a brand that wouldnt be over distributed like many of his competitors, not to be sold in just any store from the east to west coast. His vision for MADA was to truly put the “special back into specialty”. With the unveiling of MADA, the publics first perception of MADA was exactly what Vince intended, gritty black and white photos, inspired by vintage Rock N Roll photography.
